I have read all of the books in this series (and MANY others by Janette Oke), and I have to admit that I was disappointed at first with the attitude of the main character and the way she processed various aspects of her life after returning from her summer at home. It wasn't until almost the end of the book that I finally realized why the author took the direction she did with the main character. If there had been more insight into that from the beginning, I'm sure I would not have been frustrated and disappointed through so much of the book. So, in summary, I was pleased with the ending, and am hoping there will be another book in this series, but was certainly frustrated through the majority of it.

Really enjoyed this book. The whole series really. I found myself wrapped up I'm the characters and couldn't put this book down most of the time. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone!

I enjoyed reading Where Hope Prevails. Always nice to revisit the characters of When Calls The Heart. Definitely would recommend.
I've loved all of Janette Oke's books that I've read and I have a couple of shelves of them. Her novels are full of daily ups and downs as life really is, romance blooms but is always reverend in it's loving. I would recommend any and all of her books. Just be sure to read each series in order.
Once again I truly enjoyed being a part of Elizabeth’s adventures. The lessons of acceptance of others that are different but all created by our Heavenly Father is very thought provoking
I enjoyed all the previous books in this series. I wish Janette & Laurel had developed more of the Elizabeth & Jack romance. The ending could have been developed more. Won't spoil the ending. I will say way too much spent on Robert Harris Hughes. Yes he's a jerk who is unjustly accused but there was so much more that could have been developed with Edward, Philip & the extended family who travel to Coal Valley. I REALLY hope they do not have Elizabeth & Jack be barren as she did with Auntie Elizabeth & Wyn in the Canadian West Series.
I do appreciate how the authors develop a strong male character. It's good to read men being virtuous and respectful. Hope mothers of young men teach their sons to be like Jack, respectful & virtuous. What unmarried woman would not want to have their own Jack Thornton?
I really enjoy reading books by Janette Oke. I wait to see what other book a she has written. I also enjoy watching the tv series When Call The Heart . I can't for next year to see what happen to Beth since she lost Jack.
